Appreciating Life During Quarantine
This crisis has lead to many of us to stay at home for weeks. At first, social distancing and social isolation made me feel anxious. Schools were closing, events were postponed, and corona virus continued to affect over one million people around the world. However, now I have adjusted to this new normal and I began to appreciate this time. It's all about perspective. Before quarantine started, my life was always rushed and I was always working towards my future goals nonstop. Now in quarantine, I started to spend time for myself, for my faith, for my family, and for my happiness. Staying at home made me realize what is actually important in life. Although we are in the midst of a pandemic, I try to be productive every day and in effect, my mental and physical health has boosted.
